Embroidered caps stitched in Temple, GA

Custom Embroidered Hats in Temple, Georgia

Hand-digitized, machine-stitched embroidered caps run out of our Temple shop on Tajima multi-head equipment with Madeira Polyneon thread. One-hat minimum. Real proofs before we sew.

Embroidery is one of those crafts that gets cheap-and-fast almost everywhere on the internet, and you can usually see it in the finished product — fuzzy edges, broken letters, gaps where the digitizer ran out of underlay. We do not work like that. Every logo that lands on a hat from our Temple shop gets hand-digitized by a real person, with a real path plan, on real Tajima equipment.

We run a Tajima TMEZ 6-head and a single-head TUSV-1501-LB for samples and short runs. The 6-head is what lets us deliver a 24-hat order for a Temple-area church or a Carroll County jobsite without it eating a whole day of queue. The single-head is what lets us push a one-hat sample through before you commit to a 200-piece run.

Thread is Madeira Polyneon. Polyester core, 100% colorfast, industrial-wash safe. We carry over 200 spools in stock so when you say 'safety orange like the OSHA spec' or 'Carroll County maroon like the high school,' we are not waiting on a thread order — we are already stitching the proof.

On the digitizing side, the real test of a good file is what it looks like at the smallest size. A wordmark that reads clean at 4 inches across a chest but turns into mush at 2.25 inches across a cap was not digitized correctly. We test every logo at hat-front scale before production. If the proof shows that your serif font is going to break, we will redraw it or recommend a switch to a cleaner face — your call.

Blank availability matters more than people think. We keep Richardson 112 trucker caps, Richardson 168 / 168P flat brims (including the camo print), Outdoor Cap HPD610M premium structured caps, and Pacific Headwear 105C in stock in popular colorways. If you need a special-order blank, our Sanmar / S&S Activewear feed pulls in usually 3-5 business days.

Why Hobbs Peak

WHAT YOU GET WITH US

Tajima 6-head + Tajima single-head

We are not running a home embroidery machine pretending to be a shop. Real commercial Tajimas mean consistent tension, no broken needles ruining a hat, and the throughput to handle real Carroll County orders.

Hand-digitized, no auto-files

Auto-digitizing turns a logo into a guess. We path-plan every file by hand: underlay, pull compensation, stitch direction, density. The result is a logo that reads cleanly even on a textured hat panel.

Madeira Polyneon thread

Industrial-wash safe, UV-stable, and colorfast. 200+ in-stock spools means we can usually match your brand color on the first try without a special order.

One hat minimum for samples

Want to see your logo on the actual blank before committing to a run? We can stitch a single sample for cost plus our single-head time — usually under $40 — so you make the call with the real thing in hand.

FAQ

QUESTIONS WE GET A LOT

How many stitches will my logo need on a Temple embroidery order?
A simple 1-2 color text logo is usually 6,000-12,000 stitches. A full-color logo with detail can run 15,000-25,000. We do not charge per stitch like most online shops — we charge by the finished hat and quantity tier, so you do not get a surprise stitch-count fee.
Do you charge a digitizing fee on every Temple order?
No. We digitize most standard logos at no charge as part of the first order, and we keep your file on hand for re-orders forever. If your logo is unusually complex (very fine detail, dozens of colors, photographic shading), we may quote a small one-time digitizing fee — but we will tell you up front, never as a hidden line item.
What is the best embroidered hat blank for Carroll County weather?
For year-round wear, the Richardson 112 trucker is hard to beat — mesh back stays cool in July, structured front holds shape, and the panels embroider cleanly. For winter outdoor crews, an embroidered Carhartt knit beanie (CTA205) or a Richardson 115 flat-bill earns its keep.
Can I see a stitched sample before placing my full Temple embroidery order?
Yes — we will stitch a single sample on your chosen blank for a flat fee (usually under $40) so you see the actual thread colors, the actual stitch density, and the actual hat together. Most customers approve the sample and we move to production same week.
Will the embroidery hold up to industrial laundering?
Our Madeira Polyneon thread is rated for industrial wash and bleach exposure. We pull-compensate our digitizing so the stitches do not bunch or pucker when the cap is washed and dried at high heat. For uniform programs that go through a third-party laundry weekly, we recommend a slightly heavier underlay — let us know in advance and we will spec it.

READY TO STITCH YOUR LOGO IN TEMPLE?

Send us your artwork. We will hand-digitize it, run a proof, and have your hats off the Tajima before most online shops have even confirmed the order.
