Leather Patch Hats for Georgia Businesses

Real cowhide and PU leather patches, debossed in our Temple, GA shop and sewn onto Richardson, Outdoor Cap, and Pacific Headwear blanks. Shipped fast across all 159 Georgia counties.

Leather patch hats are our signature product — and they are also the product that taught us how much detail matters. A patch can be cut from real cowhide, vegan PU, or faux suede; the deboss can be deep or shallow; the edges can be left raw, burned, or painted; and the patch can be sewn flat or with a slight bulge. Every one of those decisions changes how the final hat looks, feels, and ages.

Our default for most Georgia orders is a 2x3 inch riveted leather patch in natural tan cowhide, debossed at full depth on a heated press, with a burned edge for a clean dark border. Sewn onto a Richardson 112 in a colorway you pick. That combination ages the way customers expect: the patch darkens slightly with sun and sweat, the deboss stays crisp, the hat starts looking like a hat you have owned for years instead of a hat you just bought.

We carry six standard patch leathers: natural cowhide, dark cowhide, distressed cowhide, smooth PU, faux suede, and a heavier saddle PU we use for jobsite hats. We can cut patches in standard 2x3, 2.5x3.5, 3x4, or a custom shape you upload. Custom shapes (a state of Georgia outline, a county silhouette, a brand badge) carry a one-time cutting fee of around $35 and stay on file forever.

Hat blanks are where the price tiers actually move. Richardson 112 is our most-ordered blank — durable, well-priced, and the structured front holds the patch in place beautifully. The Richardson 168 and 168P (the camo version) is the flat-brim option for crews who want a bigger canvas. Outdoor Cap HPD610M is our premium pick — heavier crown, denser stitching, sits nicer on the head. Pacific Headwear 105C is the trucker for customers who specifically want the boxier look.

Pricing on leather patch hats in Georgia starts at $18 per hat at our 24-piece tier with a Richardson 112 base. It drops to $14 at 144 pieces. Volume past that is custom-quoted. Patch artwork is free for standard rectangular patches; custom-shape cutting is the one extra to budget. We ship statewide through UPS or USPS with tracking, and most Georgia addresses are 1-3 day ground from our Temple shop.

Why Hobbs Peak

WHAT YOU GET WITH US

Debossed on a heated press in Temple

Not laser-etched, not screen-printed onto leather. We use a heated debossing press because the heat sets the impression permanently — the deboss does not soften back out after a few months in the sun.

Real cowhide options

Genuine cowhide patches age the way customers expect: darker with sun and sweat, with the deboss staying crisp. Available in natural, dark, and distressed finishes plus three PU options for vegan or jobsite use.

Ship statewide from Temple

Most Georgia addresses are 1-3 business days from us by UPS Ground. We use real tracking on every shipment so you are not refreshing a UPS page wondering if the order even left.

Low minimums for small businesses

Twelve hats is enough to get on the press. We are not the kind of shop that pretends to do leather patch but quietly insists on 144-piece minimums — small Georgia businesses are exactly who this product is built for.

Built For

WHO ORDERS THIS FROM US

Construction and trade outfits across Georgia

Roofers, framers, electricians, HVAC, plumbers, grading, and excavation crews from Cumming to Columbus. A leather patch hat lasts longer on a jobsite than embroidery and looks more professional than a screen print.

Outdoor brands and outfitters

Hunting clubs, fishing charters, guide services, kayak shops, and outfitters around Lake Allatoona, Lanier, and the Coosa River. The natural cowhide patch matches the aesthetic of an outdoor lifestyle brand.

Restaurants, breweries, and food trucks

Branded hats for staff and for retail. The leather patch hat sells well on a brewery merch wall and instantly elevates a small food brand from local to memorable.

Real estate teams and brokerages

Closing-gift hats, team uniforms, and open-house giveaways. Several Atlanta-metro and west-Georgia real estate offices order these in 24-48 piece batches every quarter.

FAQ

QUESTIONS WE GET A LOT

How long do leather patch hats last?
If you treat them like a regular hat — daily wear, the occasional washing machine cycle on cold, hung to dry — a real cowhide patch will outlast the hat blank itself. The patch ages and darkens with sun and sweat, which most customers consider an improvement. PU patches are slightly less wear-resistant on the surface but do not absorb moisture, so they actually outperform cowhide in jobsite scenarios where the hat gets soaked daily.
What is the difference between real leather and PU patches?
Real cowhide has texture variation, ages with use, and develops a personal patina. PU (polyurethane) is consistent, vegan, slightly cheaper, and holds the deboss with a sharper edge that does not soften over time. We carry both. If you want the classic look that 'breaks in' — real cowhide. If you want a uniform, technical look — PU. Saddle PU is what we use for crews who beat their hats up daily.
Do you ship leather patch hats to anywhere in Georgia?
Yes — we ship statewide from our Temple, GA shop via UPS Ground or USPS Priority. Most Georgia addresses arrive in 1-3 business days after the order leaves the press. We offer free local pickup in Temple and free delivery to Carrollton businesses on orders over $250. For Atlanta-metro customers, ground is usually next-business-day.
Can you do a custom shape leather patch, like a Georgia outline?
Absolutely. A custom-shape patch is one of the most-asked-for upgrades. There is a one-time cutting setup fee (around $35) for the die, and then the die stays on file for future runs. Popular shapes: Georgia state outline, county silhouettes, badge / shield, oval with rope edge. Send us your file or describe what you have in mind and we will quote it.
What is the minimum order for leather patch hats in Georgia?
Twelve hats. That is the smallest run where the press setup and patch cutting still pencil out for everyone. There is no maximum — we have done single 500-hat runs for regional brands and 1,500-piece programs for ongoing uniform contracts.
