Built for the field, made in Georgia

Custom Work Shirts for Georgia Crews

Embroidered Carhartt, hi-vis ANSI-rated safety shirts, screen-printed crew tees, and custom jackets — built for the trades, jobsites, and field service teams across Georgia.

Work shirts are the most under-specced garment in custom apparel. People order a generic Gildan tee for a construction crew, the shirts blow out after three weeks of real use, and the customer blames the shop. A real work shirt program means matching the blank to the actual work, picking the right decoration method for the wash cycle, and not cheaping out on thread or ink. We do this every day for Georgia crews.

For most Georgia trades, our default work shirt is a Carhartt CT104293 short-sleeve or CT104290 long-sleeve in a heavy weight, embroidered chest, with optional back-panel name or company line. Carhartt holds up. The seams do not blow out. The collar does not crumble after the first wash. It costs more than a Gildan but it lasts five times as long, so the per-day cost is actually lower.

For hi-vis and ANSI-rated safety apparel, we work with Kishigo, ML Kishigo, and the Carhartt hi-vis line. ANSI Class 2 and Class 3 vests, hi-vis tees, and reflective long-sleeves — all decorated with embroidery on the chest (so OSHA-required reflectivity is not blocked) and screen print or DTF on the back panel for the company name and individual identification.

For crew tees — the daily-wear work shirt for trades that do not need hi-vis — we use Gildan 5000 (the toughest standard-weight tee on the market), Comfort Colors 1717 for premium feel, and Bayside 5060 for crews that go through tees aggressively. Decoration is usually screen print for runs over 50 or DTF for runs under 50 and for full-color logos.

For outerwear, we stock embroidered Carhartt jackets (J130, J133, the Sandstone Active, the Quilt-Lined Loose Fit), Berne work jackets (BHJ24, the Highland Original), and Carhartt softshells for crews that need a moisture-resistant shell. Embroidery is the right call for jackets — screen print on jacket fabric is brittle and chips off in cold weather.

Why Hobbs Peak

WHAT YOU GET WITH US

Industrial-wash-safe decoration

Madeira Polyneon thread, properly pull-compensated, holds up through commercial laundry. Plastisol ink screens cure correctly so the print does not flake off after ten wash cycles like cheap online jobs.

Carhartt blanks in stock

We keep the most-ordered Carhartt workwear in inventory — the CT104293 short sleeve, the CT104290 long sleeve, and the J130 jacket — in the popular sizes (S-3XL) so production starts the day you approve the proof.

ANSI hi-vis expertise

We embroider on ANSI Class 2 and Class 3 hi-vis without compromising the reflective surface area required by OSHA. Chest embroidery, back print, optional name tape — done correctly the first time.

Real crew sizing experience

We have outfitted dozens of Georgia crews from 8-person framing teams to 80-person manufacturing floors. We know what sizes you actually need at what ratios, so the order arrives with shirts your team can wear instead of a closet full of mediums.

FAQ

QUESTIONS WE GET A LOT

What is the best custom work shirt for a Georgia construction crew?
For year-round daily wear, the Carhartt CT104293 short-sleeve workwear shirt with embroidered chest is hard to beat. It is heavy enough to take real abuse, holds up to industrial laundering, and the embroidered logo does not fade or peel. For crews working in extreme summer heat, a Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed tee with DTF print is more breathable and equally durable.
Can you decorate ANSI hi-vis safety apparel without violating OSHA reflectivity standards?
Yes — this is a routine job for us. ANSI Class 2 and Class 3 garments require a minimum reflective surface area. We embroider chest logos (small enough to not impinge on the required reflective panels) and we use screen print or DTF on the back panel between the reflective stripes. We have decorated hi-vis for DOT contractors, asphalt crews, utility workers, and tree services across Georgia without any OSHA issues.
Will the embroidery hold up to industrial laundry on Carhartt work shirts?
Madeira Polyneon thread is rated for commercial laundry conditions including high heat and chlorine bleach. We pull-compensate the digitizing so the stitches do not pucker through repeated washing. For crews that put work shirts through a third-party laundry service weekly, tell us upfront and we will spec a heavier underlay to extend stitch life — typically adds 1-2 days to production.
Do you stock Carhartt blanks or do you have to special-order them?
We keep the most-ordered Carhartt workwear in inventory — the CT104293 short sleeve, CT104290 long sleeve, J130 jacket, and the Carhartt hi-vis line — in popular sizes (S-3XL) and the most common colorways. Special colorways and big-and-tall sizes (4XL, 5XL) are 3-5 day special-order from our supplier. Tell us your full order at quote time so we can verify availability before quoting your timeline.
How fast can you turn around a custom work shirt order for a Georgia crew?
Embroidered work shirts: 5-7 business days from proof approval. Screen-printed crew tees: 7-10 business days. Hi-vis with combination embroidery + back print: 7-10 business days. Rush orders (under standard turnaround) can be quoted — call us with your deadline and we will tell you straight whether the timeline is workable.
